When the ego has dissolved, there is not a blank left. It is more like removing the weeds from a garden, allowing a flower to grow unfetted by the creeping vines of ego.
The ego is a kind of neurosis which infects the body/mind. It is the source of fear and greed and possessiveness.
But, freed from the tyranny of ego, the body/mind finds it true character, it blooms in its true colours and exudes it’s unique fragrance.
