God

God exists. This is the nectar of all experience. Nothing is not God. You are God. But nothing peculiar to you is God.

This appears to be a contradiction when first encountered. Seeming contradictions are most instructive.

God is the the awareness you call “I” and all the peculiarities about you, your name, your face, your thoughts, your history; are projections of God.

Projections of God/consciousness (in other words: the world) are seamlessly God also.

For the mind to process this seeming contradiction, we have a useful tool of negation-before-reclamation.

First we negate what is not our Self/God, which is everything that can be perceived (including our own thoughts).

Awareness is the great perceiver, and just as an eye cannot directly see itself, neither can the great perceiver see Itself.

Then we reclaim the world as our self, but this time, with no central human being, or person.

Our thoughts are no different to other objects, whether flowers, trees, mountains or stars.

Now we see that, just as an eye can see Itself in a mirror, Awareness/ Consciousness/God “sees” (experiences) itself in the universe.

Our contradiction is absorbed by truth.

What remains is the perfume of existence, the scent of love, the fragrance of Being.
