All things act according to their nature, whether we’re talking about stars, or butterflies or people. You can grip the steering wheel tightly and grit your teeth as you careen wildly through the streets of life, or you can climb into the back seat and relax.
The car will steer itself. It is propelled and directed by it’s nature. In truth you are the car, the driver, the street, every other car and pedestrian, and the whole universe. But you are pretending to be the driver.
This is not passivity. There is no passivity in beingness. Only crystaline clarity. This is peace.
